In this post, we wanted to provide a few examples of where you could buy the Silk’n SensEpil. We also wanted to highlight some reasons why we chose to buy our Silk’n Sensepil units online, directly from Silk’n's website.
We spent a lot of time price-comparing and searching for places online that sold the SensEpil, but ultimately, we always came back to Silk’n. In a way we felt like we wasted a lot of time and effort – we started out at the Silk’n site to learn about the SensEpil, then spent DAYS surfing and searching on other sites, only to come back to the first place we checked. But what we learned from all that comparing was that we were definitely getting not only the best price, but also the best support available for our investment.
The Start of Our Search – Amazon.com
Obviously we checked at Amazon.com. Who wouldn’t check there? They pretty much sell everything on the planet! But just because they sell ‘everything’ it doesn’t mean you’ll get the best deal. Admittedly, when you have to buy replacement cartridges for the SensEpil, you can get a pretty good deal, but for the actual unit, we’ve never seen it for less than about $425. Shipping is actually free, but the return policy is useless: you may return the product within 30 days only if it is unopened.
Get Your SensEpil at Sephora.com..? Not anymore!
Then we looked at Sephora.com. They were competive, but still a little expensive. Their shipping costs, for the most part, were less than Silk’n's and Sephora actually has a site-wide 60-day full money back return policy which we think is amazing, but… now it seems that they don’t actually carry the SensEpil! Can’t find it on their site anywhere. So, moving on…
UPDATE – March 29, 2012 – Well, it’s back on their site now… We don’t know why it went away. But it’s really not very noteworthy because they’re selling it for $500 (free shipping though…). Not very exciting. Move on, if you haven’t already…
Target.com: Great SensEpil Price but Their Return Policy is Silly!
We also found the SensEpil at Target.com where it’s an online-only product (you can’t find one in their stores). They sometimes cut the price to $399 and offer free shipping. Great, right? But once again, you come across a useless, site-wide returns policy. Sure they give you 90 days to return a product you aren’t happy with but it has to be in new or unused condition! How realistic is that!?
At the Skinstore.com the Price is Nice, and Shipping is Great, But…
Skinstore.com offers a site-wide coupon every now and then. They currently have a New Year’s promotion where you can get a 20%-off coupon. That means that if you applied it to a SensEpil purchase, you could get one for $399, just like the Silk’n site! And they also offer free shipping! Sounds great if you can take advantage of the coupon, right? But their returns policy just isn’t as good as Silk’n's. It’s a site-wide, 30 day satisfaction guarantee, which sounds pretty good as you can actually get a full refund if you aren’t happy with the product after using it for 30 days, but with a product like the SensEpil, around 30 days is when you should start seeing results. So if you aren’t happy after giving the SensEpil a chance to work according to the manufacturer’s directions, you’ll have gone past the 30 days and will be unable to return it!
The Official SensEpil Site: It’s Where To Buy a SensEpil

The Silk’n site just seems to offer the best overall deal. The price is $399, and while you can’t assume that it’s going to stay this cheap forever, there is no indication that this promotion is going to end in a few weeks like the other sites that offer temporary, site-wide coupons. You get a full 60 day money back guarantee if you aren’t happy with it and that should give you plenty of time to get through several treatment sessions and start seeing results so you can make an informed decision.
Furthermore, Silk’n offers great customer service, and when you deal directly with the manufacturer you avoid all that wasted effort trying to get support from a third-party vendor which usually just ends up getting you nowhere.
While $15 for shipping may seem a lot compared to the other sites that offer free shipping, think of it as your one-time ‘peace of mind’ fee, or better yet, a kind of Silk’n ‘preferred customer’ membership fee. It pays itself back quickly because there is are added bonuses for buying through the official Silk’n site. There are a whole whack of other discounts on Silk’n's other products.
We’re happy glad we bought our SensEpil directly from Silk’n. We hope we’ve given you some helpful tips so you can make an informed decision on where to buy a Silk’n SensEpil. If you feel that the SensEpil is right for you,
take advantage of all the benefits you can’t get anywhere else and get yours HERE!
UPDATE – May 12, 2012
Amazon.com has lowered their price for the SensEpil to about $364. That’s the cheapest we’ve seen now, hands down. You won’t get the on-going benefits like you would ordering from the official site, but maybe getting it for that price is worth it. Check it out the Silk’n SensEpil at Amazon here. Just keep in mind what we said earlier about the return policy…
UPDATE – July 8, 2012
Okay. Quite simply, it has never been better to get a SensEpil as it is right now. Amazon has dropped its price again – you can get a unit for HALF of what it used to be! Yup. It only costs $250 now! At that price, you can get the 3 replacement light cartridges for the same price the standalone unit cost back in May! Do it NOW! Get your SensEpil for the lowest it’s ever been NOW!
