Looking for Silk’n SensEpil Reviews? Well, we bought our SensEpils after doing a TON of online research, looking at customer reviews on forums and on retailer websites. Finding the best at-home hair removal system became an obsession for us. We spent SO much time and effort that we thought, because we now love our Silk’n SensEpil so much, we could help other people like us get the information they need quickly so they can make an informed decision. Below is a summary of lots of customer Silk’n SensEpil reviews that we found helped us.
We’ve collected customer reviews that talk about how effective the SensEpil is, how quickly you can see results, how long those results last, and whether it’s painful or not! We really hope the information here helps you to make a wise choice on your hair removal investment! Enjoy!
Does the SensEpil Work? Is it any good at removing hair?
We found that, overall, most every owner of the SensEpil was happy they paid the money for this machine:
“I’ve used it now for about 5 weeks and am starting to see real results. Excellent news as I could not afford the thousands of dollars I would have to pay to have this done in a medical facility. Good product!” Vegas Gal on amazon.com
“It’s the holiday season, so I missed a scheduled treatment…but I noticed that my pits don’t need to be shaved daily, leg hairs are thinner, bikini line has less hair. So I give it 5 stars. After 3 uses, I see the difference.” Christina on justbreastimplants.com
“I saw results right away… after the first use. I did it every 2 weeks for the first 3 treatments and now I’m going to do it once a month. It says that you need about 7 treatments to see full results.” Soniafwny on amazon.com
I want to start losing hair, like NOW! How fast does the SensEpil start to work?
Because everyone is different, and because each hair shaft grows at it’s own rate, not everyone is going to experience the same amount of hair loss at the same rate. But, if you stay on the treatment schedule, we’ve found that most people see enough hair removed that they are excited by the results:
“I’m so glad I made this purchase!!!!! It has taken two months, but I’m starting to see great results. I fit all the criteria to use this hair remover; light skin, really dark hair. I’ve had such problems with ingrown bikini hairs over the years. My derm. tried to get me to do laser hair removal since I was a frequent patient. I’m glad I waited and saw this.” Hburggirl on Sephora.com
How long can I expect the results to last?
First thing’s first. The SensEpil is not a permanent hair removal system. If you’ve ever had professionally done laser hair removal you’ll know that it isn’t permanent either. The term used is “hair reduction.” Yes, hair is removed by disrupting the hair follicle from producing more hair, but eventually the hair growth cycle starts again, and when that happens varies from person to person You will need to keep using the SensEpil to maintain the initial results seen, but maintenance treatments are about every 2 weeks and if hair does grow back within that two week window it is usually very thin and soft – nothing like what happens when hair grows back after shaving or waxing!
“I’ve been using the Silk’n Sensepil for the past 6 months and couldn’t be happier with
the results… I first noticed smooth patches by the second session. Small patches but it was encouraging. Presently, I can happily say that my legs are pretty close to being hair-free! I can now get away with not shaving my legs for several days and when I do, it’s on a few small patches where the hair is much finer than it used to be. My underarms are 75% hair-free so I still need to shave them but I’m satisfied with my current results. Will continue to use since hair grows in cycles and new patches are bound to pop up. Silk’n, I believe suggests continuous use for 1.5 – 2 years.” LadyLaineE on Makeupalley.com
“UPDATE 7/10/2010: … my own armpits remain 90% hairless after about 6 pulses per area, last done around January” SZQueue on makeupalley.com
The results sound great, but is it going to hurt like heck?
Most people, us included, think that when used as directed, the SensEpil feels like a quick, warm tingle when it is working. It’s definitely not uncomfortable and certainly not painful. It’s a great system to use if you’re tired of the pain from waxing, laser or a physical epilator!
“This product has worked for me over time. I had 2 salon treatments on my bikini line and they were so painful I decided I’d rather go back to shaving. But this is very comfortable and it does work provided you do it routinely.” mom23ntx on Sephora.com
“How it worked: I’ve used it 3 times already and I started seeing results about 1 week after the first use. The first time I did my legs, I used the lowest setting. I felt it a little bit but it didn’t hurt at all. It’s described as feeling like a rubber band snap. It didn’t even feel that bad to me. It was easy and fast.” Dmomo on Sephora.com
Now is the time to act! Never has the Silk’n SensEpil been this inexpensive!
If you are like us, and the thousands of other happy customers who’ve used the SensEpil and gotten great results, the time to get one is NOW.
When we got ours we paid $400 – and that was after we used a $100 off coupon (which you can’t get anymore, by the way). Now, if you order directly through the Silk’n website you can get a SensEpil for the same price but you don’t have to worry about finding a coupon code! We don’t know how long this price will last.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence waiting to make the final decision to buy a SensEpil, the time to act is now.

UPDATE – May 12, 2012
Amazon.com has lowered their price for the SensEpil to about $364. That’s the cheapest we’ve seen now, hands down. You won’t get the on-going benefits like you would ordering from the official site, but maybe getting it for that price is worth it. Check out the Silk’n SensEpil at Amazon here.
